Helpline Humanity started as a small group of Displaced students in Exile who had come out of their homes and hearths from Kashmir Valley. The organization was formed with the sacred objective of aiding the students in their fight against the difficulties in pursuing their studies which included provision of books to needy students reading room facilities, free teaching , library facility etc soon after establishment a large chunk of the students community joined this common good mission and our membership increased to whopping 1000.
To begin with we started a project under the name of Mata Sarswati Pustakalaya in 1994 in a rented one room tenement. The Pustakalaya enrolled students of all classes for availing facilities like free books, competitive books, Magazines and above all a small ambience suitable for studies which otherwise the dark, dingy and pigeon box type one room tenements were unable to provide. Books of all hues and on all subjects were collected from the donors/ volunteers, besides some major assistance from some organization in the form of books note books etc, were pooled and then offered to the members A record number of 25000 books/ Magazines/ competitive Books were provided to the students for exclusive use by them free of cost
Mata Sarswati Pustakalaya has progressed since then leaps and bounds but constrains of time, and financial are acting as major road blocks in its relentless struggle to achieve its enshrined objectives .
A Long and sustained struggle discussion/ debate by the entire membership resulted into the present form of organization “ Helpline Humanity” A Non Government voluntary Organization . The widened organization adopted MSP as a one of its projects Since then MSP is running under the aegis of Helpline Humanity.
Keeping in future with the need of the hour, the organization decided to hold a career counseling cum Guidance programmes and career counseling session for the students. The Students/ educated youth being the future of the society needs a very effective counseling to orient the society towards better. The Programme shall be a source of Inspiration and strength for all those who besides, being endorsed with high talent fail channelize their energies towards productive and meaning full ventures and fall a prey to frustration and desperation. This programmer is aimed to reorient the rudderless youth of the society.
The choice and selection of venue was based on the fact, that the KP Community who were hounded out of their homes are hearths are totally frustrated and directionless. The programme therefore assume more importance and value. We hope to come up to the expectations of the people at large and youth at particular, through this programme,
