MATA SARSWATI PUSTAKALAYA

Mata sarswati Pustakalaya is an inspirational centre for students where lots of intellectual had spend their time to build their career, the library in which at least 100,000 books were circulated to the migrant students. Every years books get collected at MSP and then pass on to other people, some prominent newspaper, magazines and editorials were also being issued to students and old aged people, Mata  Sarswati Pustaakalaya established in 1994 at migrant  camp Nagrota, 

The idea started with the  collection of books  at a Herculean  task and the “Pustak Dan” campaign launched by the MSP bore results and soon  a large collection of academic books from class 1V to Class XII was collected which were offered  to the members. The scheme of the campaign was that, students were motivated to donate their books to the Pustakalaya and in return take the books of the class to which they would graduate. The Circle so formed worked well and soon we had a pool of books of various classes. These books are still in circulation now the library shifted to refugee Camp Jagti. Its being a long pending dream of organisation to establish a well organised library with fully computerised and good space so children’s and different people can spend their precious time over there and help to develop good education environment.

Righ now the library in physical form comprising of Book Bank, Reading Room Facility for Academic from Class 9 th to Graduation level in the streams of Humanities, Commerce, Medical and Non Medical classes of State and Central Board . Reference books of different authors also available.

MATA SARASWATI PUSTAKLAY: Computerised library with free Net surfing for education purposes. The project has been launched in 2020 and needs more upgradation with infrastructure. Objective is to provide calm, cool and congenial atmosphere for studying/preparing for JEE, NEET, NDA, Banking Exams, JKSSB, UPSC (IAS, IPS), KAS etc.
